'Christmas in the Park' Light Display in Noble Park Nov 25-Dec 31

PADUCAH - Experience Paducah's most spectacular holiday light display and support local food pantries as Paducah Power System lights up the holiday season with "Christmas in the Park". The light display officially opened in Noble Park on November 25 and runs each evening through New Year's Eve.

This is a regional holiday tradition made possible by Paducah Power System. Entrance to the park during the event is free, although participants are encouraged to make a canned good or cash donation to support local food pantries. All proceeds benefit Paducah Cooperative Ministry, Family Service Society, the Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Local community organizations will greet participants at the Santa House, accepting donations from drivers making their way through the displays. Those assisting in this year's collection of donations will be wearing masks and gloves and staying at least six feet away from each other and those enjoying the park.

Horse-drawn carriage rides through the light displays will be available by reservation with John's Pass Carriage Service. To experience the lights in a whole new way, call 270-243-4365 to reserve your carriage during Christmas in the Park. Carriages may be reserved November 30 - December 30 (Sunday - Thursday) between 6 and 8:30 pm. Admission is $100 for a full carriage which holds ten.
