City of Paducah Christmas Parade in Downtown Paducah

PADUCAH, KY - The City of Paducah Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 1 in downtown Paducah.  The parade begins at 5 pm at 14th and Broadway and travels down Broadway until it turns at 2nd Street and disbands at Monroe Street.  “Christmas Time in the City” is the theme with music and lights required on each of the parade’s 94 entries.  Santa Claus will make a special appearance at the end of the parade on the official Santa float.

This year the Christmas Parade is proud to honor Dr. Randy Dunn as Grand Marshal.  Dr. Dunn serves as president of Murray State University.  He was selected to become MSU’s 11th President in May 2006.  Prior to coming to Murray State, Dunn served as the State Superintendent of Education for the Illinois State Board of Education.
