Rock of Ages Charity Concert at Hilltop Lounge - Benefits 7th Grader Gracie Shelton
The Annual Rock of Ages charity concert is Saturday night at the Hilltop Lounge, with proceeds helping a family with a sick daughter.
Grace Shelton is a 13-year-old 7th grader at Graves County Middle School. In March, she was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, a rare hormone disorder caused by a tumor on the pituitary gland in the brain. In August, the tumor was removed at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville. She is one step closer to recovery but still has a long way to go.
The concert features Draggin Knuckles, Shoveldog, and He Said She Said. Everyone will be asked to make a $5 donation for admission. Money raised will help the Shelton family with medical bills and travel expenses.
The show starts at 7 pm. The Hilltop Lounge is located near Leeder Bottom, close to the McCracken-Graves County line.
