Freedom Fest 2012, celebrating Johnson County’s Bicentennial (1812-2012) is July 4 in Goreville, IL.

Here is the schedule of activities:

6:30 am: Freedom Run/Walk 5K Race Registration at Goreville School
7:30 am: Freedom Run/Walk 5K Race Begins, Kids 1 mile Fun Run to Follow
9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Car Show Registration at the Village Park
11:00 am - 3:00 pm: Car Show at the Village Park
12:00 pm: Free Concert at the Village Park, Jack Martin Band
2:30 pm: Car Show Award Presentations
3:00 pm: Parade Line-up at Goreville School
3:00 pm: Glorylanders Quartet in Concert at Collins & Broadway
4:00 pm: Parade Starts
4:00 pm: Johnson County Cloggers at Collins & Broadway
5:30 pm: Free Concert, Remedy & Cache River Band at the Village Park
9:00 pm Fireworks at the Village Park

Food vendors and children's entertainment will be available all day, and family tailgating is Welcomed, but alcohol is not allowed.
