HealthSource Collecting Canned Goods in July
By WestKyStar Staff
MAYFIELD, KY - HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab of Mayfield will host a special “Christmas in July” canned-food drive for the month of July to help replenish local food banks and shelters.

HealthSource Doctors are offering a FREE Community Service Health Screening (a $504.00 value) in exchange for canned food or non-perishable donations. The 19-point screenings can help track down even the smallest amounts of pain, including those suffering from a wide range of problems such as low back pain, headaches, neck pain, shoulder or arm pain, bulging or herniated discs, leg pain, numbness and more. Even X-Rays will be included if necessary.

“Many people don’t realize that this can be one of the toughest times of the year for the local food banks and shelters. We tend to forget about those in need outside of the holiday season. Even though we’re still half-a-year away from the holidays, we thought an early celebration could help jump-start the collections for local food donations,” said HealthSource CEO Dr. Chris Tomshack. “Together, we can all help build a stronger, healthier community.”

Donations will be collected at HealthSource located at 339 Charles Drive in Mayfield from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM through the month of July.
