PADUCAH, KY - Lourdes Foundation’s 18th Annual Charity Golf Open raised over $85,000 at the annual event held on Monday, August 28 at the Country Club of Paducah.  The tournament hosted over 30 teams, with about 200 golfers and volunteers participating.

“As a first-time attendee at the annual Lourdes Foundation Charity Golf Open, I am honored and grateful for the support we receive from our generous sponsors and donors,” said Michael Yungmann, Lourdes President and CEO.  “The tournament is one of our Foundation’s key public fundraising events and helps greatly to advance our hospital’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus by improving the health of our communities.”

Leeper Consulting won first place in the morning flight and Crowdus Maintenance took the first place prize in the afternoon.
The annual Golf Open hit an impressive milestone this year. The Lourdes Foundation Charity Golf Open has now raised over $1 million dollars since the event began eighteen years ago.

“We are proud to reach this remarkable milestone with our Golf Open,” says Jessica Toren, Lourdes Foundation President. “It is humbling to consider the impact of one Golf Open for so many Lourdes patients and their families. We are thankful to everyone who has supported our tournament for so many years and look forward to many more to come.”

Donations to the Foundation improve the health of the community by providing support for advanced technology and projects and services that enhance patient care at Lourdes.
