Discovery Park of America and Crosswind Church will host an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 20.

The hunt will begin at 1:30 with a hunt specifically for children with special needs. It will be in The Settlement, where the music won’t be as loud, the crowd won’t be as big and parents will be allowed to help.

Then at 2 pm, the Great Lawn will come alive with four different hunts. Children two and under will begin hunting at 2 pm, ages three and four will begin at 2:15, ages five through seven will start at 2:30, and ages eight through 12 will begin at 2:45.

Kids can also enjoy entertainment including “Go Noodle dancing,” bounce houses, the Easter Bunny for photos and a special Crosswind Church ‘tattoo tent.”

Park officials say there will be over 30,000 candy filled eggs free for the taking. Children should bring their own baskets.

The event is free with park admission.

The park will be closed on Sunday for observance of Easter Sunday.
