UCB began with Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh. Their idea and concept have now branched out to a touring company with performers who bring some of the best improv comedians from the legendary Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre to new audiences all around the country.
The UCB Theatre has four theatre locations in New York and Los Angeles, and is home for all things comedy and hosts the best and most innovative improv, sketch, stand-up comedy, variety shows, and cool/weird stuff that defies categorization. Their flagship touring show is a 90-minute, unscripted, and totally improvised performance. Four improvisers at the top of their game perform a high-energy, surprising and hilarious show that has never been seen before and will never be seen again.
"This UCB company is amazing and will create fantastic improv comedy that will have our audience members rolling with laughter all night,"
said Clemens Fine Arts Center Director Todd Birdsong. "We're also excited to have our own Paducah Improv opening the show to get the laughter started!"
