Local artist Jenny Fuller has spread her wings and stretched her talents to include writing and illustrating children’s books.

She has written three books so far, ’The Magic Lady’ being the latest. This one is about a woman that befriends a young boy and changes him forever.  There are lessons of friendship, responsibility, sorrow and gratitude woven in the pages.

Fuller has been painting since 1974 and is a charter member of Paducah Area Painters Alliance (PAPA) in Paducah. She enjoys the friendships and encouragement of other artists at the PAPA Gallery. She is married and has one daughter and two grandchildren.

Fuller told stories to children for years, but it wasn’t until her first grandson was born that she began writing them down on paper. In 2015 she had her first book published. It was called ‘Sebastian and the Wise Old Man’. About a year later she wrote and published ‘A Horse Named Willie’.  This book is about Cassidy’s Cause Therapeutic Academy in Paducah and a portion of the proceeds are donated to further the work there. 'The Magic Lady' has been a book unwritten in her mind for 30 years and finally it became real.

You can purchase Fuller’s books in Paducah at Davis Drugs, Bricolage, Reidland Pharmacy and Strawberry Hill or online at amazon.com.
