November's 59th annual Lions Club Telethon of Stars will transition from its traditional two-day format, to become a four-hour concert event at Paducah's Carson Center.

"The Telethon of Stars Celebration Concert" will include country music favorite Lee Greenwood and gospel group The Talleys. Also performing will be the "Original Stars of Rock & Roll," featuring Brian Hyland, The Chiffons, Johnny Tillotson and Shirley Alston Reeves, original lead singer of The Shirelles.

Money raised by the concert goes to centers in the four-state region who serve disabled children and adults, including Easter Seals West Kentucky in Paducah; T.L.C. of Southern Illinois; the UTM Infant Stimulation Program in Martin, Tennessee; and Easter Seals Southeast Missouri.

Tickets range in price from $15 to $75. Purchase tickets at  www.thecarsoncenter.org , at the Carson Center box office or by calling 270-450-4444.  Reserved tickets include access to meet the stars after the concert, and will enter the ticket holder in drawings for door prizes during the concert.

The concert will air live on WPSD on Saturday, November 14 starting at 6:30 pm, and will also stream live on the internet. On Sunday, Nov. 15, the public can watch WPSD starting at 6 am for a pre-taped, two-hour gospel music concert featuring local gospel talent.
