Ethan H. Johnson, 18 years old of Kevil, KY has earned the highest advancement award the Boy Scouts of America offers to Scouts, the Eagle Scout Award.
 
Johnson was recognized on September 29th at Concord United Methodist Church.  
 
A member of Concord United Methodist Church Troop 2004, Johnson is one of a very  small number of all Boy Scouts who attain the Eagle Scout rank. To earn the Eagle  Scout rank a Scout must earn at least 21 merit badges and complete a community  service related project.  Johnson planned, organized, and built a prayer garden for Concord United Methodist Church.
 
Johnson is a senior at McCracken County High School and is active in cross country and swimming.  He is the son of Michael and Tina Johnson of Kevil, KY.  

The Boy Scouts of America is the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. The Lincoln Heritage Council of the Boy Scouts of America serves 36,000 youth in 64 counties in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and Tennessee.
