McDuffie to Attend US Naval Academy Summer Seminar

Hannah Elizabeth McDuffie has been selected to attend the United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar held at the academy in Annapolis, MD. There were 2,250 slots globally available.

McDuffie will be a senior at Marshall County High School where she is an honor student, member of the track team, FFA, HOSA, Marshall Militia, Leadership Dynamics and a representative to CAT as one of three representatives from the high school. In high school she has planned special activities for the middle schools and other high school events.

McDuffie is the daughter of Heather McDuffie and granddaughter of Terry and Trisha Chester. Hannah comes from a US Navy family and hopes to continue in the US Navy tradition.

In 2015 she was chosen as an ambassador for West Kentucky to participate in the People to People European Heritage High School Summer Program and visited seven European countries and participated in community service projects and spent time as an exchange student with a German family.
