Four Paducah Tilghman High School students have been chosen to attend Kentucky Boys State.

Juniors Isaac Humphrey, Travis Myers, Brandon Purefoy and Landon Rutherford have been selected to attend the week-long leadership academy on the campus of Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, June 5-10.

Kentucky Boys state is a program sponsored by American Legion that is designed to train Kentucky students in the fundamentals of good citizenship and governmental operations. The event allows participants to put the theories of American government into practice through the actual operation of city, county, and state offices, as organized under the plans of a mythical 51st state.
