Chocolate Fondue for Your Valentine

PADUCAH - Banks Market Recipe of the Week - Make in fondue pot, crock pot or top of a double boiler...

1 pound milk chocolate or dark chocolate chips
1  1/2 cups Half & Half  (or mixture of heavy cream & milk)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 
Pinch salt 
2 tablespoons coffee or hazelnut liqueur or bourbon (optional)

Strawberries, Bananas, Pineapple, Pretzels, Marshmallows and/or Pound Cake (cut in cubes)

Skewers for dipping

Heat a fondue pot or crockpot on high until hot. Combine the chocolate chips, cream, vanilla and salt in pot. Cover and heat on high for 20 minutes. Uncover and whisk the mixture together and set on LOW. Whisk in the liqueur or bourbon (optional). Skewer berries, fruit, marshmallows, pound cake or dip pretzels in the warm chocolate fondue mixture. YUM!!!!!
