Fresh Fruit Sherbet Ice

PADUCAH, KY - Makes 1/2 gallon
2 cups water
1 cup apricot nectar
2 cups sugar
3 oranges, juiced
3 lemons, juiced
3 ripe bananas, mashed
Boil one cup of the water and dissolve the sugar in it. Blend all the other ingredients together. Pour into an ice cream freezer and follow freezing instructions.
Once you make this refreshing frozen treat, it will become one of your favorites. You can substitute orange juice and lemon juice but it's just not the same as the fresh juiced fruits.
I usually double the recipe and make in a 6-quart freezer.
