2 cups diced turnips
2 tablespoons butter
Salt & pepper to taste
4 strips bacon, cooked crispy & crumbled
2 tablespoons sliced chives
1/3 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
Simmer peeled and diced turnips in boiling salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, salt and pepper. Fold in crumbled cooked bacon and chopped chives. Top with shaved Parmesan.
