'Your City at Work' Features Paducah Fire Dept.

PADUCAH, KY -

This episode of Your City at Work is devoted to the four divisions of the Paducah Fire Department:  administration, suppression, prevention, and training.  At the beginning of the episode, viewers will learn about the rich history of the Paducah Fire Department.  Fire Chief Steve Kyle talks about the goals and future of the department.  In a segment showing training exercises, Battalion Chief and Training Officer, Ronnie Rathman, narrates as fire fighters use the jaws-of-life to remove a car door.  Plus, viewers will learn about the capabilities of a ladder truck.  Fire Marshall, Greg Cherry, shares his vast array of duties and provides fire safety tips that could save your life.  


Your City at Work: Paducah Fire Department can be viewed on Government Channel 11 starting Monday, September 28 at 9 pm.  It also airs that week on Wednesday, September 30 at 9:30 pm; Friday, October 2 at 10 am; and Saturday, October 3 at 10 pm.  Government Channel 11 program information, videos, news releases, and schedules are available at www.paducahky.gov.  A low-resolution video of this episode is available on the website.
