Become Part of the Empty Bowls Project
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - The Empty Bowls Project will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 11 am to 4 pm, at the Paducah Convention Center, with all proceeds going to the Community Kitchen. Want to help the needy in Paducah by participating in this great event? Here are three ways to get involved!

First, you can help create the bowls used in the event by calling Terra Cottage Ceramics at 270-908-0090 and set up a date to glaze a bowl. $5 will cover the cost. Individuals and groups are welcome.

Second, you can also volunteer to move bowls, sell tickets, and everything in between at the Project itself. Many volunteers will be needed if this event is as popular this year as it was last year!

Or, on the day of the event, you can buy a ticket for $15, pick out a unique handmade bowl, and fill it with your choice of food from participating restaurants. Then, take your one-of-a-kind bowl home as a souvenir!
