Arlington Woman Hurt when Car Hits Deer

A deer in the road was responsible for a crash Thursday morning that injured an Arlington woman.

At 9:20 am Thursday, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury crash on Blandville Road between Gholson and Fisher Road. According to police, 32-year-old Tamara Owens, of Arlington struck a deer crossing the roadway. 

Owens was taken to Baptist Health for treatment of minor injuries. Blandville Road was restricted to one lane for about 45 minutes.
