Authorities are looking for a Paducah teen who walked away Wednesday night from the McCracken County Jail Welding Program.

According to Kentucky State Police, they received a call from the McCracken County Regional Jail at approximately 7:45 PM Wednesday that 19-year-old Christopher B. Peevyhouse, of Paducah, had escaped custody while participating in the welding program at Paducah Tilghman High School. 

Peevyhouse is described as a white male, 5' 9", 130 pounds, with brown hair, and green eyes. He was last seen wearing navy pants, a khaki shirt, a UK ball cap and glasses.

Peevyhouse was last seen in the area of Baptist Health Paducah. Police say Peevyhouse has a history of burglary, theft and weapons charges. 

Anyone with information on Peevyhouse's whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement.
