Authorities Search for Missing 17-Year Old Girl

Paducah Police are asking for the public's help in finding a teenager.

Police say 17-year-old Javantevia Fitzgerald was reported missing Tuesday night about 7 pm, and hasn't been seen since about 2 pm that day. She was in the area of McGuire Avenue at that time, and possibly headed to Mayfield.

Fitzgerald is black, 5'8" tall and weighing about 120 pounds. She has brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was last known to be wearing black sweat pants, a grey long-sleeve hooded shirt and a cut-off jean jacket.
