Preliminary autopsy results have confirmed the initial findings of Paducah police detectives - that foul play is not indicated in the death of retired San Francisco radio host Ray Taliaferro.

According to the Paducah Police Department, an autopsy was conducted Tuesday at the Regional Crime Lab in Madisonville. While that report has not been finalized, it indicates that exposure to the elements may have been a factor in the man's death.

Taliaferro, who was 79 years old, was reported missing Nov. 10 to the Massac County Sheriff’s Department. He was spotted several times in Paducah that day, and his body was found Sunday by two teenagers in a wooded area near Brooks Stadium Drive.

The investigation is continuing, and police say more information will be released when it becomes available.
