By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH - Over $62,000 was raised for Special Olympics of McCracken County in this year's Big Brown Truck Pull, which took place Saturday in downtown Paducah.

Organizers thanked those who supported the event in a Facebook post, saying the money goes directly to support athletes who compete in multiple events throughout the year across Kentucky.

Many teams took their turns to see who could pull a loaded UPS 18-wheeler 12 feet in the shortest time, while junior teams pulled a UPS van.

Here are this year's winning teams, with their time in parentheses:

Junior Division: C-Plant Federal Credit Union (3.78)

Co-Ed Division: Jasons Collision Center (5.08)

Women's Champs: FRNP - MotherTruckers - Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office - PPPO (6.64)

Men's Division: Beltline Electric Company (4.59)

The Spirit Award was given to 50 Shades of Paint, while Best Costume was awarded to NeuroRestorative
