Bray Organizes Paducah Restaurant Worker Fund
By West Kentucky Star Staff
MCCRACKEN COUNTY - Paducah native George Bray is organizing a restaurant worker relief fund on behalf of the Family Service Society.

Bray is calling the effort Paducah's Tip Jar - Restaurant Workers Relief Fund. In the announcement, Bray says many of our fellow Paducah residents have been impacted by the economic effects of COVID-19, with restaurant workers being one of the most impacted sectors of the community.

Bray has set up a way to assist restaurant workers specifically through the Family Service Society, who will be approving all requests and managing the available funds, while administering the funds among servers, bartenders, and cooks within the community.

Anyone interested in donating can do so at the website linked below, or by going to and search for Paducah's Tip Jar.

The Family Service Society provides to Paducah and McCracken County residents that need assistance with food, clothing, prescription medications, emergency dental, utility assistance, personal hygiene items, household goods, and Christmas food assistance.
