Her creativity and commitment to increasing awareness of our programs and services has resulted in tremendous success in both the Power of the Purse event and growth of several major campaigns. Betsy’s strong faith, optimism, creativity and unwavering work ethic make her the ideal choice to lead our agency towards additional growth and continued responsible stewardship of our community’s resources.”
“I am honored to accept the position of Executive Director within this outstanding Organization.” Burkeen said. “It’s an exciting opportunity to build on the strong foundation of the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County. A foundation that began in our local community 82 years ago. Thanks to the United Way Board of Directors, staff, corporate and individual financial supporters and volunteers, the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County will continue the great work of improving Education, Income, and Health in our local community. I’m humbled and privileged to be a part of the United Way team that will continue to offer imperative assistance to the people of Paducah-McCracken County.”
Burkeen also noted that the position of Event and Development Manager at the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County will be posted on United Way’s website and Facebook page beginning August 21. Any applicant interested in this position should apply by September 10.
