PADUCAH, KY - The Paducah/River City chapter of Business & Professional Women (BPW) recently inducted officers for the 2012-2013 year.
 
Officers for the 2012-2013 year are President - Rayla Bridges of Horizon Media Group/Paducah Printing, President-Elect - Gina Leeper of Western Baptist Hospital Foundation, Treasurer - Crystal Ridenour-Reid of Western Rivers Insurance and Secretary - Rebecca Straley of Caesar's Entertainment - Harrah's Metropolis.
 
“It has been a very rewarding experience working with the ladies of Paducah River City BPW this past year, and I am very excited to work with the new leadership team in the upcoming year”, said Tammy Owen, immediate past president.
 
“The Paducah/River City BPW has flourished under Tammy's visionary leadership, and we are excited about continuing our momentum during the upcoming club year.  I am honored to be part of the 2012-13 leadership team and look forward to working together with them, as well as all club members, to provide area business and professional women with new opportunities for leadership development and networking.” said Rayla Bridges, incoming president.
 
The club also received several awards at the annual Kentucky State BPW Convention held recently in Bowling Green.  Paducah/River City BPW received the Overall Membership Award (statewide: new member increase, current member retention). Gina Leeper and Rayla Bridges each received a Plus 5 Membership Award (recruitment of 5 or more new members).  Dr. Tammy Owen (2011-12 President) was named to the statewide Kentucky Federation of BPW’s Kentucky Foundation committee, which raises money and distributes educational scholarships.  Jessica Koverdan (2010-2011 President) was named to the statewide Kentucky Federation of BPW’s Internal Auditor committee.
 
The Paducah/River City BPW supports the region's business and professional women by providing networking and professional development opportunities, as well as focusing on issues which impact businesswomen, their families and employers.
