PADUCAH, KY - The Yeiser Art Center is featuring a Paducah School of Art artist this month, a solo exhibition by CJ Niehaus: Nature. Nurture. A Show Inspired by the Mother/Daughter Relationship. The show is now on exhibit at the Yeiser Art Center, 200 Broadway in downtown Paducah.
Niehaus, an adjunct instructor at Paducah School of Art and Design, earned an MFA in ceramics at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
"Paducah School of Art and Design is pleased at the opportunity to collaborate with the Yeiser Art Center in the presentation of this solo show of works by CJ Neihaus, our first resident artist in ceramics," said Paul Aho, PSAD's Dean. "CJ has been burning the candle in preparation for the opportunity to bring her work to audiences from throughout the region, and has pulled the rabbit out of the hat with this excellent exhibition. I am delighted with her work and the skills she brings to the region and the art school."
