The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is offering several educational seminars during the month of September as part of their ongoing commitment to help educate local businesses on topics they identified of interest in a Chamber survey. The seminars are open to the public and there is no charge to attend.  The seminars will be held at the Commerce Center in the Paducah Bank Community Room, 300 South 3rd St. The sponsors for the seminars are FNB Bank and Lundberg Medical Imaging.  Pre-registration is requested at paducahchamber.org.  
 
The seminars include: 
Wednesday, September 19, 8 am
“Understanding & Using the Workforce Pipeline” with presenter Mary Anne Medlock of the West Kentucky Workforce Board. If you are frustrated with trying to recruit new employees or need fresh ideas to attract applicants, this seminar is for you. Learn how to leverage your recruitment efforts by utilizing the services and resources of Kentucky’s workforce partners. Information from local staffing agencies will also be available. 

Wednesday, September 26, 8 am
“Back to Basics with Advertising” with presenter Kyle Hayden with WPSD Local 6.  In this seminar local advertising demographics will be examined to help determine the best outreach option for your business. From television to radio, print and web based advertising, this seminar will cover all media outlets and discuss how to leverage each to meet your specific needs.
