Also, due to routine grinding of brush, the City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street will be closed to the public until further notice. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.   

There will be NO residential trash collection on Wednesday, July 4. Wednesday’s routes will be done on Thursday, July 5. Since on July 5 Engineering-Public Works Department crews will be doubling their collection routes and adjusting their shifts, citizens with Wednesday and Thursday collection schedules are recommended to place trash containers at their designated collection point Wednesday evening (July 4).
