City Looks for Unique Vehicles for Touch a Truck
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - Paducah Parks Services will host its annual Touch a Truck event on Thursday, September 20, 10 am until noon, in the Farmers’ Market parking lot in downtown Paducah. The Touch A Truck event is a free event where kids, teachers, and families can see and touch various types of vehicles including a fire truck, ambulance, tow truck, postal truck, dump truck, garbage truck, and police car. School groups and church groups are asked to call 270-444-8508 to pre-register. Individuals do not need to pre-register.

The Paducah Parks Services Department is looking for unique vehicles to showcase at Touch A Truck. Recreation Specialist Micah Walker says, “I’m reaching out to the community to find people who would like to volunteer to show their odd or specialty vehicle. I would really like to introduce a monster truck and a tank to the event.” If anyone has a unique vehicle that they would like to bring to Touch a Truck, contact Micah Walker at the Parks Services Department at 270-444-8508.
