Clark Elementary Student Tests Positive for COVID

PADUCAH - A Clark Elementary student tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

The student is reportedly asymptomatic, but was tested following a suspected exposure outside of school.

The Purchase District Health Department will be performing contact tracing. Anyone that meets the necessary criteria will be contacted and will receive further instruction. Parents with a student that might have been exposed can expect a call from contact tracers.

In a statement, school officials said they will continue working closely with the health department to take the recommended steps to ensure the safety of all students and faculty.
