Cold War Patriots (CWP) is a non-profit membership organization of nuclear weapons-complex workers and uranium miners who sacrificed their health in service to our country. This group includes workers at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, a uranium enrichment facility that is currently being cleaned up and shut down.

Since 1942, it is estimated more than 700,000 Americans have worked to create and maintain our nation’s nuclear deterrent. In the process, many of them contracted illnesses from radiation or toxic exposures. CWP helps workers and their families understand the benefits available to them and how to access them.
