A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 24 Monday injured two Florida travelers.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, the crash happened at approximately 4 pm at the 13 mile marker of eastbound I-24. Deputies said 20-year-old Jackson Castleberry and his passenger, 38-year-old Misti Miller, both of Benton, failed to yield to slowed traffic ahead caused by another accident.

Castleberry struck the rear of a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Kristopher Woodhull of Orlando, Florida. His passengers, 42-year-old Carman Castle and 21-year-old Derek Frohn, both of Orlando, were both transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
