A Paducah man was arrested Wednesday after police discovered 30 meth labs in two McCracken County homes.
On Wednesday at around 3:19 pm, McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies responded to 1319 Yarbro Lane in the Farley area of McCracken County after being requested by social services.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that social services was investigating 30-year-old Charles “Chuck” Lyons for allegedly assaulting 32-year-old Buffy Timmons.
According to police, Lyons began causing problems with investigators which prompted them to contact law enforcement. While at the home deputies saw several items consistent with the manufacture of Methamphetamine.
Search warrants were obatined for both 1319 and 1316 Yarbro Lane. A number of meth labs were reportedly found at both locations.
Detectives determinded the house was contaminated and unsaf,e and requested the assistance of the Reidland Farley Fire Department. Detectives required protective equipment and breathing apparatuses to continue the search of both homes.
A total of 30 methamphetamine labs were seized, as well as items that may be used in the manufacturing of meth.
Lyons was arrested and charged with 25 counts of manufacturing methamphetamine and three counts of child endangerment.
Buffy Timmons was arrested Thursday morning and charged with complicity to manufacture methamphetamine, and three counts of child endangerment.
Both Timmons and Lyons were booked into the McCracken Regional Jail.
