By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - A fiber optic line was cut, and part of US 62 in McCracken County was closed Saturday following a one-vehicle crash.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says 29-year-old Tyler Pittman of La Center was hauling a trailer filled with sports equipment.

The equipment snagged cable and fiber optic lines near the end of the four lane section of US 62. According to deputies, no one was injured.

Authorities say the part of US 62 between Olivet Church Road and McCracken Boulevard was closed for about three hours while Comcast Cable crews removed and made repairs to the downed lines.
