Crash on Husband Road Injures Two

Two people were hurt Thursday morning in a crash on Husband Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says emergency crews were dispatched shortly before 7 a.m. to a crash in the 1500 block of Husband Road. The investigation showed 67-year-old William Houser was leaving his driveway and pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by 17-year-old Alexis Meredith of Paducah. Meredith tried to stop to avoid the crash, but was unsuccessful.

Meredith and her passenger were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
