PADUCAH, KY - A multi-vehicle crash on Lone Oak Road Tuesday injured four people.
At around 2:47 p.m. the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department responded to a three vehicle collision at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and Cave Thomas Drive.
The investigation showed that 16-year-old Taylor R. Fondaw, of Paducah, was driving north on Lone Oak Road and was attempting to make a left turn onto Cave Thomas Drive. Another driver stopped in the fast lane on the roadway and motioned for Fondaw that she could make her turn. Fondaw turned into the path of 17-year-old Jazymne C. Lilly, of Paducah, who was driving Southbound in the slow lane on Lone Oak Road.
When Lilly’s car struck Fondaw’s car, it spun and struck a pickup truck driven by 72-year-old Janice L. Housman that was stopped at the stop sign on Cave Thomas Drive.
Fondaw, Lilly, and Housman were taken to area hospitals for what appeared to be minor injuries. Lilly also had a passenger, 12-year-old Jordan Smith, also of Paducah, who was treated at an area hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries.
