PADUCAH, KY - A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 45 Monday sent a 17-year-old to the hospital.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, Paducah resident Lauren Prescott, 17, attempted to cross U.S. 45 at the intersection of Lovelaceville Florence Station Road West at 3:45 p.m. when her car hit a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Amanda Richardson, of Bardwell.

Richardson was driving south on U.S. 45 when the vehicles collided at about. Prescott’s family took her to Western Baptist Hospital to be checked and treated for injuries.  She was treated and released Monday evening.
