If hot summer temperatures have you looking for an excuse to enjoy a frozen treat, Paducah's DQ Grill and Chill® can help.

For one day only, on Thursday, July 27th, for every Blizzard treat sold during DQ Miracle Treat Day, $2 will be donated to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

During last year's event, the Joe Clifton Drive location was part of a North American campaign that raised more than $4 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Owner Jay Page is encouraging those in the community to grab a signature red spoon and dig in.

“We do this to help save and improve the lives of children treated at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and that includes local families, which is why we are so dedicated to raising funds,” Page said.

He said the featured Miracle Treat Day Blizzard of the Day is Oreo®, the most popular treat to date. During the month of July, Frosted Fudge Brownie and Salted Caramel Blondie are also offered, but all Blizzard® treats sold on Thursday will be eligible as part of Miracle Treat Day.
