Detectives Hope to Identify Couple in Store Video

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department is trying to identify two people from surveillance video who might have information about a recent theft.

On Tuesday, Sheriff's Detectives began investigating the theft of a customer's cell phone inside the Dollar General Store on Highway 60 near Olivet Church Road. The victim said he was at the cash register, but laid his phone down to grab additional items. Detectives say surveillance video shows a man and woman walk up to the checkout lane, and the woman appears to pick up the phone. That is the last time the phone is seen on the video.
