A Paducah woman was arrested Wednesday night after McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, on Wednesday at approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 4300 block of Husbands Road for a domestic disturbance. While investigating the disturbance, deputies were able to see several firearms in plain sight.

Deputies determined that 31-year-old Nicole Dobbs of Paducah had assaulted her juvenile son along with her mother. Both victims had visible injuries from the assault.

While at McCracken County Regional Jail, deputies discovered Dobbs was a convicted felon. Deputies received a search warrant for the residence, where they seized a total of six long guns and one handgun from the residence.

As a result, Dobbs was charged with domestic assault, possession of a firearm and of a handgun by a convicted felon, and an unrelated bench warrant.
