St. Nicholas Healthcare Payment Assistance Program hosted a fundraiser on Friday, July 13th, by teaming up with Credit Bureau Systems, Inc. to roast Mark Edwards at Soiree's Event Center in Paducah.

Edwards, the President and CEO of Credit Bureau Systems, found himself in the “hot seat,” but was also able to deliver some zingers of his own directed towards his roasters. Friends, family and colleagues joined forces to provide a side-splitting evening of delightful fun for the audience as they delivered a steady stream of good-natured teasing directed at the widely-known businessman.

Roasters included Keith Dickens of Pepsi MidAmerica, Mary Katz of the Carson Center, Larry Stovesand of Paducah Ford, local attorney John Reed, Lloyd Ledet and Will Edwards of Credit Bureau Systems, and even a long-distance video roast by Ken Hunt of A & K Construcction. Bill Jones of U. S. Bank served as Emcee.

So far, those who attended or wanted to honor Edwards have donated or pledged over $23,000 to St. Nicholas, with more anticipated over the next month or more.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of all the sponsors and donors who made contributions in honor of Mr. Edwards,” said Amy Clevidence, 2018 St. Nicholas Board Chair. “With this funding, St. Nicholas will be able to continue providing healthcare payment assistance to working adults so they can stay well and keep working to support their families."

If you missed the event, you can still make a donation in honor of Mark Edwards online at www.stnickassistance.org, by phone at 270-538-9010 or by mail at St. Nicholas HPA, P. O. Box 311, Paducah, KY 42002.
