Eastbound I-24 Blocked near Lone Oak

A police investigation has required a blockage of the eastbound lanes of I-24 between mile markers 7 and 8 in Paducah. This is just east of Lone Oak Road at exit 7.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet suggests that eastbound drivers take exit 4 and use the downtown business loop. Drivers can re-enter I-24 at exit 11 (Husband Road exit) from John Puryear Drive.

The investigation is expected to last until about 10:30 pm.
