Paducah Police, members of the McCracken Sheriff's Department, local firefighters and EMS personnel are invited to a 9/11 First Responder Appreciation Lunch Tuesday on 9/11, hosted by Paducah/McCracken County Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).

The lunch will be offered from 11:30 until 1 pm to allow people to attend as their schedules allow. The offerings will include hamburgers, chips, soda, cookies and brownies.

Organizers plan to take a few pictures of local officials and volunteers with the first responders totell the community about the commitment to supporting local emergency personnel as well as highlighting the senior citizens that volunteer in the community and the non-profit locations where the serve.

The lunch will be held next to the Mercy Ambulance substation at 501 S. 6th Street in Paducah.
