Every Nachos Navidad Purchase Helps Animal Shelter
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - This holiday season, both Taco John's locations in Paducah are donating a portion of each purchase of Nachos Navidad to the McCracken County Animal Shelter.

The two restaurants, on Jackson Street and Bridge Street, have been serving the area for almost 33 years, and have been giving back for over a decade using their festive Nachos Navidad as the way customers can fill their stomachs and help local charities at the same time.

"This is a great opportunity to support a very worthwhile local charity," said Tammi Halvorson, franchisee for Paducah's Taco John's. "We are so fortunate to have a charitable organization like the McCracken County Animal Shelter to provide such a needed service in our area."

The McCracken County Animal Shelter is operated by McCracken Fiscal Court, and was opened in November 2011 after the county severed ties with the McCracken County Humane Society.
