A two-vehicle crash Monday night in McCracken County left five people injured.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened around 5:55 pm at the intersection of US Hwy 286 and McKendree Church Road. Deputies said 33-year-old James Harvill of Cunningham was traveling north on McKendree Church Road when he pulled into the path of another car driven by 64-year-old Teresa Higdon of Paducah.

Higdon and her passenger, 58-year-old Shawn Turner of Paducah, were transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Harvill and his two passengers, 35-year-old Amanda Harvill and two-year-old Maximus Harvill, were also treated at Lourdes.

Deputies said Maximus Harvill was restrained in a child safety seat at the time of the collision.
