Flooding Sunday On Many Paducah Roads Overnight
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH, KY - State officials cautioned drivers to stay off roads  Sunday night in the Paducah area due to flooding from earlier thunderstorms.

Several veteran KYTC employees noted that there was water over roadways in places not normally known for flooding.  There were reports by the public that 4 inches of rain fell in about 2 hours in some parts of the immediate Paducah area.

Most highways have reopened, but there may still be trouble spots and water will continue to be over some roadways since last night.
