Former Bus Driver Anita Roach Released from Jail

Former bus driver Anita Roach has been released from jail.

Attorney Will Kautz told WPSD Local 6 that his client has been released for good behavior and time served.

Roach is the former Carlisle County school bus driver who was found guilty of reckless homicide in the 2011 bus crash that killed 6 year-old Logan Simpson.

The fact that Roach was placed on home confinement for more than 200 days leading up to her trial was a factor in her release, according to Kautz.

Also considered was the fact that Roach had already served 22 days in jail since her conviction.
