The former McCracken County Property Valuation Administrator was arrested Monday after a investigation by the Kentucky State Police.

Police say they started looking into possible misuse of official funds in the early spring after getting a citizen complaint about Nancy Bock. Detectives say they uncovered over $6,000 in theft over a five-year period, which took place by allegedly forging travel vouchers and by unauthorized credit card transactions.

On Friday, a detective presented his findings to a McCracken County Grand Jury and they returned and eight-count indictment against Bock - seven counts of 2nd degree forgery and one count of theft by unlawful taking over $500.

Bock resigned her office last week, and turned herself into the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on Monday morning. She was booked into McCracken County Jail where she posted a $5,000.00 bond. An arraignment is scheduled for the morning of September 27th McCracken County.
