Four Hospitalized after Car Crash

Four people were hospitalized Saturday afternoon after a single-car accident in Paducah.

At 2:43, McCracken County Sheriff's Department deputies were dispatched to the 2600 block of Poole Rd. Their investigation showed that 16-year-old Chelsea Nicholes was driving southbound on Pool Rd when she lost control of her car, causing it to flip over before landing in a nearby ditch.

Nicholes and her passengers, 15-year-old Kiante Vaughn, 14-year-old Tiersa Huckaby, and 17-year-old Treshawn Dillard (all from Paducah) were transported to Lourdes Hospital and Western Baptist Hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Nicholes was also charged with failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by Hendron Fire Department and Mercy Regional EMS.
